Attending the Official Launch Party for the Original Kabob Factory

I highly recommend  a trip to The Kabob Factory located 1700 W Glenoaks Blvd, Glendale CA 91201.  Henry, Mary, and I got to attend the official Launch Party and everything was delicious!  Upon arrival we were greeted with a Red Carpet entrance followed by a tour of the place.  We learned you can purchase the freshest meats, or for a dollar more, they will cook the meat to perfection for you.

 

We got to sample so many good things and the atmosphere was so exciting.  The DJ did a great great job with the music.  Fun was had by all!

Here is proof these really do work.  I told our neighbor I wanted to get one of these, and he went and got me one!  I thought for sure it was too late in the season to start this, but after talking to "The Plant Man" at the Santa Monica Farmers Market, I was willing to give it a try instead of waiting til next season.  So I came home with a 2" tomatoe plant and Henry set it up.  Three weeks later we have tomatoes starting on the vines!  We are very fond of our neighbor David Berman who is one in a million!

Thanks to Facebook we were able to reconnect with relatives we hadn't seen in years.  We were happy to find our neices and nephews from my husbands side of the family.  Sara travels to LA annually for her job, and we were thrilled to get together and catch up!  After going through old photos, we hopped in the car to Montrose and had dinner at New Moon in Montrose.  We got to hear all about her career, and she got to see where I spend my days at Revelation!  We are so proud of all the things Sara is accomplishing in her life!

 

Shopping Day

Mary and I always have so much fun shopping for our store!  We start off early and shop til we drop!  It is so exciting to see all the New Styles!  We hand pick our favorites and eagerly wait for them to arrive!  I truly cherish the work the Lord has provided for us.  Today we also enjoyed  tickets to FBI (Fashion Business Inc.) runway show!

Columbus Day Fun

Admission is free on Holidays such as Columbus day at LACMA Los Angeles County Museum of Art!  We walked around the La Brea Tar Pits, and enjoyed seeing all the current exibits on display.  After walking around for 3 1/2 hours we were off to TOI ROCKING THAI FOOD located 7505 Sunset Blvd which is my favorite restaurant!  We usually go for dinner, but we discovered their "Specials" Lunch menu...about a dozen choices for $6.95!  Next we went for a quick 10 speed ride thru Venice Beach.  I can't believe we squeezed all this in...in a day!
