Weekend Get Away to Central Coast

There is so much to see and do when driving the Coast of California.  We had two free nights hotel stay from a rewards card and couldn't have used for a better trip.  Our destination Paso Roboles!

We stayed in Morro Bay, a beautiful beach town!  Almost everywhere you see a fantastic view of the Rock!

Next we were off to see my friend Susan who has a winery Dark Star Cellars!  It was so fun to see her after many years!  We were treated like Royalty!  Every wine we tasted was Excellent and the atmosphere in the tasting room was so enjoyable! Next we did a tasting in her son Brian's tasting room and his wines were Excellent too!  We had a great time catching up and then we got a tour of the place!

Next we had a beautiful drive to wind up in Pismo Beach where every year the Monarch Butterflies migrate from December through February!

We also ventured out to Franklin Hot Springs and enjoyed Nature's Spa of Hot Mineral Baths!

We packed so much into this trip I felt like we had a week's vacation!
